Ertuğrul Çetin: “The betting transaction is definitely not related to my own match.”

Ertuğrul Çetin, who plays for Esenler Erokspor, shared a post after being referred to the PFDK for betting.

Ertuğrul Çetin said in his statement, "First of all, I want everyone to know that the reason I was referred to the PFDK is because of two betting transactions made within three days, four years ago, when I was just 18 years old and playing for the youth academy. These transactions were definitely not related to my own match.

I realized at the time that what I did was wrong, and I have never been involved in a similar mistake since. I am deeply sorry that I was involved in such an incident.

"I will continue to do my job and fight honestly on the pitch. I wanted to make this statement out of my responsibility to my family and the clubs I play for," he said.
